Get trained for both inside and outside welding work with our Stick, MIG & Flux Welding Course. This 4-month, 240-hour program is designed for students who want to master structural and fabrication-style welding, preparing you for jobs in all-around fabrication shops and field projects where multiple welding processes are required.
What You’ll Learn
This course gives you hands-on training with three core welding processes used in shop and field environments:
• Stick (SMAW) – strong, durable welds for all conditions and materials.
• MIG (GMAW) – fast, efficient welding for production and fabrication settings.
• Flux-Cored (FCAW) – high-deposition welding for structural and heavy fabrication work.
You’ll also learn:
• Pipe and structural joint preparation
• Beveling, fitting, and layout techniques
• Repair and rework welding
• Inspecting proper weld quality and standards
Course Breakdown
• Months 1 & 2: Full Stick welding — develop control, consistency, and strong fundamentals in multiple positions.
• Months 3 & 4: MIG and Flux — MIG for roots and production welding, Flux for hot pass, filler, and cap work.
• Final Weeks: Hands-on experience using an orbital rollout machine, simulating real shop and field conditions.
Why Choose This Course
This all-around welding program is ideal for those looking to work in fabrication shops, construction, and structural welding environments. By the end of training, you’ll have the versatility to handle shop and field welding, mastering Stick, MIG, and Flux processes — plus experience with orbital rollout machine operation to prepare you for real-world welding projects.
